Hi math wizards! I am about two weeks through the semester, and getting a bit worried about my course work. I just don’t seem to comprehend the stuff I am learning, especially things to do with adding 2 like radical expressions. Could somebody out there please lend a hand with decimals, syntehtic division and mixed numbers. I can’t afford to hire a tutor, but if anyone knows about other ways of getting better with topics like leading coefficient or 3x3 system of equations without fuss , please let me know Thanks heaps |

The perspective you’ve adopted towards the adding 2 like radical expressions is not the right one. I do understand that one can’t really think of anything else in such a scenario . Its good that you still want to try. My key to successful problem solving is Algebrator I would advise you to give it a try at least once. |

Hi , just a month ago, I was stuck in a similar situation. I had even considered the option of leaving math and selecting some other subject. A colleague of mine told me to give one last chance and gave me a copy of Algebrator. I was at ease with it within few minutes . My ranks have really improved within the last one month. |

Thanks for the detailed instructions, this seems great . I wanted something exactly like Algebrator, because I don't want a program which only solves the exercise and gives the final result, I want something that can really show me how the exercise has to be solved. That way I can understand it and next time solve it on my own, not just copy the answers . Where can I find the program ? |

I remember having often faced problems with distance of points, complex fractions and simplifying expressions. A really great piece of algebra program is Algebrator software. By simply typing in a problem homework a step by step solution would appear by a click on Solve. I have used it through many algebra classes – Algebra 2, College Algebra and Algebra 2. I greatly recommend the program. |

Yeah you will have to buy it though it will cost you less than a tutor. You can get an idea about Algebrator here https://algebra1help.com/flash/noflash/63.html. They give you an no questions asked money-back guarantee. I haven’t yet had any reason to take them up on it though. All the best! |
